7-Day Rwanda Gorilla & Chimpanzee Tracking Safari

This 7-day Rwanda safari blends the country’s most iconic wildlife and rainforest experiences into one unforgettable journey. The adventure begins with classic safari drives in Akagera National Park, where savannah landscapes host elephants, giraffes, antelope, and abundant birdlife along the lakeshores.

From there, travel south to the ancient rainforest of Nyungwe Forest National Park for an exciting chimpanzee tracking experience and the famous canopy walk suspended high above the forest floor. Continuing north, the safari leads to the volcanic slopes of Volcanoes National Park, where you’ll trek through bamboo forests to encounter endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.

The journey concludes beside the tranquil waters of Lake Kivu, offering a peaceful setting to relax after days of adventure. Along the way, enjoy vibrant cultural encounters, scenic drives through Rwanda’s rolling hills, and moments of quiet reflection in some of East Africa’s most beautiful landscapes.

Expect a rich mix of wildlife safaris, jungle trekking, cultural performances, and lakeside relaxation—a true exploration of Rwanda’s natural and cultural treasures.
