Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a safari representative and transferred to your guesthouse near the airport. The rest of the day is at leisure, allowing you to relax after your journey and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Entebbe – Murchison Falls National Park (via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary)
After breakfast, depart Entebbe and drive north to Murchison Falls National Park. En route, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where you can see wild rhinos. Accompanied by an experienced ranger, enjoy a guided rhino tracking experience on foot.
After lunch at the sanctuary, continue to Murchison Falls National Park and visit the top of the spectacular falls, where the Nile forces its way through a narrow gorge before plunging into the river below. Proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Game Drive, Nile Boat Cruise & Top of the Falls
Begin the day with an early morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile, searching for giraffes, elephants, lions, buffaloes, antelopes, and a wide variety of birdlife.
Return to the lodge for lunch before enjoying a relaxing afternoon boat cruise along the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls. This cruise offers close-up wildlife viewing, including hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and water birds. Later, visit the top of the falls for breathtaking views of one of Uganda’s most powerful natural wonders.

Day 4: Murchison Falls – Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, check out and begin the long but scenic drive south toward Fort Portal, passing through changing landscapes and countryside. Enjoy a packed lunch en route.
Arrive in Kibale Forest National Park in the late afternoon and check in at your lodge nestled within the rainforest.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Wetland Walk
This morning, head into Kibale Forest for an exciting chimpanzee tracking experience. After a briefing by park rangers, follow expert guides through the forest in search of a habituated chimpanzee group. Once found, spend one unforgettable hour observing their social interactions and daily behavior.
After lunch at the lodge, enjoy a guided walk through Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community-run conservation project known for its rich birdlife and primates.

Day 6: Kibale Forest – Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a short tour around the scenic crater lakes region before continuing south along the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains toward Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive where you may encounter elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and predators.

Day 7: Morning Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Start the day early with a game drive across the Kasenyi Plains, a prime wildlife area known for Uganda kobs and their predators, including lions.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which links Lake George and Lake Edward. This is one of the best wildlife viewing experiences in Uganda, with excellent sightings of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and numerous bird species.

Day 8: Ishasha Sector – Tree-Climbing Lions & Sundowner
After breakfast, travel south through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions. Enjoy game drives through this scenic area, framed by sweeping savannahs and distant mountain views.
Arrive at your wilderness camp in time for lunch and rest. Later, head out for another game drive in search of lions before returning for a sundowner as the sun sets over the park.

Day 9: Queen Elizabeth – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Begin the day with an early morning game drive in Ishasha, followed by a bush breakfast in the heart of the wilderness.
Later, continue south to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. Upon arrival, check in and enjoy lunch before taking an evening community walk to interact with local residents living near the forest.

Day 10: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest
Today is the highlight of your safari. After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for registration and a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. You will be assigned a gorilla family and begin your guided trek through the dense rainforest.
The trek can take between 2 and 8 hours depending on the gorillas’ movements. Once located, spend a magical one hour observing these gentle giants at close range.
Return to the lodge later in the day for relaxation and a celebratory dinner.

Day 11: Bwindi – Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, depart Bwindi and drive to Lake Mburo National Park, with wildlife sightings possible as you enter the park. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on the lake, offering excellent birdwatching and views of hippos cooling off along the shoreline.

Day 12: Lake Mburo – Entebbe (Departure)
Start the day with a guided nature walk accompanied by a ranger, allowing you to explore the park on foot and observe wildlife from a unique perspective.
After breakfast, drive back to Entebbe and transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight home, marking the end of your Uganda safari adventure.
