2. To use responsible tourism as a powerful tool to transform the lives of communities living near Uganda’s premier wildlife destinations.

 

We are a fully registered and licensed tour operator authorized by the Ugandan government, ensuring every safari we run meets the highest safety and legal standards. Being 100% locally owned and operated by Ugandans who were born and raised in these regions gives us a unique advantage. We don’t just take you to see mountain gorillas — we immerse you in the rich culture, history, and breathtaking landscapes of Uganda in ways only true locals can.

 

Our gorilla trekking tours, chimpanzee tracking, and wildlife safaris go far beyond the ordinary. What truly sets Nturo Safaris apart is our deep commitment to community development. We proudly invest up to 15% of our revenue directly into local projects, including building schools, water catchment systems, and health centers around Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Mgahinga Gorilla National Park and Virunga National Park. We also provide entrepreneurial training to local people running small businesses, helping them grow sustainable livelihoods through tourism.
