Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by a safari representative and transferred to your guesthouse located close to the airport. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the lodge and recover from your journey.

Day 2: Entebbe – Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, begin your scenic drive westwards toward Kibale Forest National Park, passing through Fort Portal, a beautiful town surrounded by tea plantations and overlooked by the Rwenzori Mountains. Stop for lunch along the way before continuing to your lodge in the heart of the forest.
Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy the tranquil rainforest setting.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Wetland Walk
This morning, head to Kibale Forest for an unforgettable chimpanzee tracking experience. After a briefing by park rangers, follow experienced guides into the forest in search of a habituated chimpanzee community. Along the walk, you may encounter other primates, forest birds, and unique plant life.
Once the chimpanzees are found, you will spend one hour observing them as they interact, feed, groom, and move through the forest canopy.
After lunch at the lodge, proceed to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided community walk. This initiative supports local conservation and offers excellent birdwatching and insight into village life.

Day 4: Kibale Forest – Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a short sightseeing drive through the scenic crater lakes region before continuing south toward Queen Elizabeth National Park, following the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains.
Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and relaxation, followed by an evening game drive in the park, where you may spot elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and predators.

Day 5: Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Start the day with an early morning game drive across the Kasenyi Plains, a prime wildlife area known for Uganda kobs, lions, elephants, and large herds of buffalo.
In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake George and Lake Edward. This cruise provides outstanding opportunities to see hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, water birds, and other wildlife at close range.

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth NP – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, depart Queen Elizabeth National Park and travel south through the Ishasha sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions. Continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.
Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch, followed by an evening community walk where you can interact with local residents and learn about life around the forest.

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest
Today is the highlight of your safari. After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. You will be assigned a gorilla family and begin your guided trek into the dense forest.
The trek can take between 2 and 8 hours depending on the gorillas’ movements. Once located, you will spend a magical one hour observing the gorillas as they feed, rest, play, and interact in their natural habitat.
Return to the lodge later in the day for relaxation and a well-earned meal.

Day 8: Bwindi – Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, depart Bwindi and drive to Lake Mburo National Park, with lunch en route. On arrival, enjoy a boat cruise on the lake, offering excellent birdwatching opportunities and sightings of hippos and other wildlife along the shoreline.
In the evening, you may choose to join an optional night game drive (at an extra cost) in search of nocturnal animals such as leopards.

Day 9: Lake Mburo – Entebbe (Departure)
Begin the day with a guided walking safari accompanied by a ranger, allowing you to explore the park on foot and observe wildlife from a different perspective.
Return to the lodge for breakfast, then enjoy a final game drive as you exit the park. Continue the drive back to Entebbe, stopping at the Equator for lunch, photographs, and souvenir shopping.
You will be dropped off at Entebbe International Airport for your onward international flight, marking the end of your safari.
