Day 1: Kampala → Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Your journey begins with an early departure from Kampala, heading southwest through rolling hills, tea plantations, and charming countryside. Enjoy lunch en route and capture breathtaking views during photo stops. By evening, arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park—home to nearly half of the world’s mountain gorillas. Settle into your cozy lodge, enjoy dinner, and prepare for your gorilla trek.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi & Cultural Experience

After an early breakfast, head to the Bwindi Park Headquarters for a briefing. Armed with your trekking permit, set out on an expedition through dense rainforest in search of a mountain gorilla family. The trek can take 2–8 hours, depending on their location.

Once found, spend a magical one hour observing these gentle giants—watching them feed, groom, and interact. Return for lunch and later visit the Batwa community, where you’ll learn about their forest traditions, music, and dance.

Accommodation: Same lodge as Day 1.

Day 3: Bwindi → Kampala or Entebbe

Enjoy breakfast and begin your scenic drive back, stopping at local craft markets for souvenirs. For travelers on tight schedules, a domestic flight from Kihihi to Entebbe can be arranged at an extra cost.
